Glenda M. Pecinovsky, age 77, of Cresco, IA, died Friday, September 11, 2015, at Palmer Lutheran Health Center in West Union, IA.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church Protivin, IA. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery Protivin, IA. Visitation will be held 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, at the church.

Glenda M. Hugeback was born on September 9, 1938, in Lake City, IA daughter of Clifford and Gertrude (Hemann) Hugeback. At the age of 13 Glenda began working at A&W Restaurant in Charles City, after her father passed away in 1953. In 1956, Glenda’s family moved to Manly, IA. Glenda began working for Mercy Hospital in Mason City her senior year in the dietary department. She graduated from Manly High School in 1958. After graduation Glenda worked as a nurse’s aide at St Marys Hospital in Rochester until 1968. On August 24, 1968, Glenda was married to Art Pecinovsky in Manly, IA. To this union one daughter Eva was born on September 19, 1969.

Surviving Glenda is her daughter Eva (Julian) Skretta of West Union, IA, her brothers Gary (Bonnie) Hugeback of Coon Rapids, MN, and Richard (Alyce) Hugeback of Hampton, IA, and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was her parents, and husband Art in 2002.
