SUDDEN, SUMMONS
FOR YOUNG MOTHER
~
Lime Springs, Ia. July 3 – Special:
Our community was shocked and saddened last Wednesday to hear of the sudden death Mrs. Elsie McCulloch Nash, who resided at 3337 Marquette Avenue, Minneapolis, Minn.

She was just about to leave the hospital with an infant daughter, Aurilla Jane, only eleven days. Her mother, Mrs. A. McCulloch had the baby, and a nurse was helping Mrs. Nash. They had reached the lower floor by elevator, when Mrs. Mash suddenly became very faint and ill. She was carried to her room on a carrier and passed away in a very short time inspite of the effort of both doctors and nurses.

The funeral services were held in Minneapolis and the body was accompanied to its last resting place in Pleasant Hills Cemetery in Lime Springs by her sorrowing husband Alvin C. Nash, Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Nash, of Eagle Head, Minn., Mrs. A. C. McCulloch and Miss Harriet McCulloch. The casket was opened and a short service was held at the pavilion in the cemetery, where a very large company of friends met to pay their last tribute to the one departed. The casket and grave were completely covered with flowers, telling in their sweet way of the esteem in which she was held.

Mrs. Nash was in her thirty-fifth year and leaves three beautiful children, Clifford, Elizabeth and the baby. Mrs. Nash was born and spent her life here.
