DIED.

At her home in Cresco, Nov. 17, 1892, Mrs. Hannah Laura Fall, aged 74 years, and five days.

Funeral services were held at First M. E. church, Nov. 19, 1892, conducted by Rev. C. H. Marsh, assisted by Rev. Ridlington, and were attended by her children and grandchildren, also a niece Mrs. Minnie Adams, of Decorah, and a large circle of friends.

OBITUARY.

Hannah Laura Wilmot was born Nov. 12, 1818 in the town of Prospect, New Haven county, Conn. When 18 months old her parents removed to Camden, Oneida county, N. Y., where they resided nearly 13 years, from thence to Brownsville, N. Y., was married Feb’y 8, 1835, to G. W. Fall. She experienced religion when but 14 years of age, united with the M. E. church, of which she was a devout member and willing worker for over sixty years. Eleven years were spent in Rock county, Wis., while that state was in its infancy. In the year of ’56 they removed to Howard county where she has since resided for the last 24 years. She had been totally blind, yet through all she maintained that same Christian spirit which had been so characteristic of her whole life. All of her children now living were permitted to be with her during her last sickness. Mrs. Mary L. Carver, Mrs. Arvilla R. Beadle, both of Cresco, and Mrs. Adeline F. Brown of Ottumwa, Ia. Her youngest daughter, Mrs. Sylvia E. Morey, having preceded her to the spirit land some 15 years ago.
