Another Old Settler has Crossed the Divide.

Mr. John Ferrie of New Oregon township, one of the early settlers of county passed away Tuesday morning the 23d, ripe in years, and leaving a large circle of friends to mourn his death. He died upon the farm and at the home where he had lived for the past third of a century and where he had reared a large and respectable family of children, by whom he was loved and respected. His funeral was from the Catholic Church in Cresco, Wednesday morning and was largely attended.
