Vernice, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Vance, died at their home in this city, Monday evening, aged three years and four months. Little Vernice has always been an invalid until He who knows all summoned her from this world of sorrow and suffering to that home beyond the skies. She was the pet of all, and her sweet face will be missed by a large circle of friends of the family. Mr. and Mrs. Vance have the sympathy of our people in their hour of affliction.--Riceville Recorder.
