Crossed the Great Divide.

MAHAN--In Cresco, January 22, 1892, John Mahan aged about 80 years.

Deceased was among the early settlers of the county, and was among the first to move his building from Vernon Springs to Cresco. He leaves a widow and a son, James Henry, conductor on the Northern Pacific in the state of Washington.
