DIED.

JACOBUS.--At her home five miles northeast of Riceville, Iowa, on Jan. 2, 1892, Mrs. Ralph Jacobus, aged 70 years, seven months and three days.

Mrs. Jacobus was born near Dundee, Steuben county, N. Y., May 30, 1821. When quite young her parents Mr. and Mrs. Ebenezer Holly, moved to North Urbanna, in the same county where she was married to Ralph Jacobus, Jan. 10, 1849; here seven years of their wedded life were spent in this vicinity, they then moved near Fort Atkinson, Wis., then to Dodge county, Wisconsin, thence to Riceville, Iowa, where she lived the remainder of her days. She leaves a husband and two sons besides a large circle of friends to mourn her departure.--Riceville Recorder.
