REYNOLDSBURG, OH - Charles A. McCarville, 80, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at home. Visitation was held from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Grove City, Ohio with memorial services at 5 p.m.

Charles Athanasius McCarville was born May 23, 1934, in Cresco, Iowa, the son of Athanasius and Clara (O'Donnell) McCarville.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean War. Charles loved his family, friends, golf, and the Buckeyes.

Leonard is survived by his wife of 34 years: Janet (Lewis); three sons: Michael (Kelly), Charles C., and Robert; a daughter: Mary Margaret; two grandchildren: Nathaniel and Sara; step sons: Richard and Michael; two step daughters: Bridgotte and Denise; brothers: Thomas (Joyce) and Robert(Shirley); a sister: Ellen (Wayne) Franzen; brother-in-law: James (Francisca) Lewis; and numerous step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters: Mary Margaret McCarville, and Elizabeth Leonard.
