Josephine Koshatka services held Tuesday

Funeral services for Josephine Koshatka, 84, were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 10 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Lourdes. The Rev. Robert Ament officiated. Internment was in the church cemetery with Conway Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She died September 6, 1991, at the Howard County Hospital.

Josephine Koshatka was born April 17, 1907, near Lourdes, the daughter of Joseph and Antonia (Benedict) Tlusty. She attended the rural schools.

On Nov. 27, 1928, Josephine married Frank G. Koshatka at Lourdes with the Rev. F.J. Renier officiating. They were the parents of one son. Josephine moved into Cresco in the fall of 1983.

She is survived by her son, Harvey Koshatka of Cresco; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, John Tlusty and a sister, Margaret Hovorka, both of Cresco.

Her husband preceded her in death on January 14, 1981; also preceded by her parents, two sisters, Elizabeth Wagner and Mary Bugenhagen; five brothers, Frank, Joseph, Henry, James and Edward Tlusty.
