Jesse Miles of Janesville, Wis., father of Wm. Miles of Saratoga died recently at his home in that city. Years ago Mr. Miles used to be a prominent, and almost the only cattle buyer in our county. He was an honest, truthful man an earnest believer in the duty we owe to the present, but somewhat skeptical about the future life.
