DIED.
ROWLEE.At his home in Orleans township, Winneshiek county, Ia., Dec. 4th 1890, Mr. William Rowlee, aged about 74 years.
Funeral services were held at the home on Sunday, Dec. 7, and the remains were buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Cresco, by the side of his first wife.
Deceased was born in Trumbull county Ohio, July 30, 1816.
He was united in marriage with Miss Cornelia Humphrey, March 26th 1840.
He experienced religion and joined the Congregational church in 1841, and has been a member ever since.
In 1854, he brought his family to Winneshiek county, Iowa, and settled in Orleans township, where he resided up to the time of his death.
February 23, 1871, the husband and four children laid the wife and mother in the grave. Of the children, three are living and one is dead.
September 15th 1880, Mr. Rowlee was united in marriage with Mrs. E. M. Eddy, who survives him.
The community has lost a pioneer settler and a good citizen, and the family mourn the death of a true husband and father.
The Rowlee family desire to tender their heartfelt thanks to their neighbors and friends for sympathy and aid in their bereavement.
