A daughter of Harley Hurlbut aged about nineteen years committed suicide by administering to herself two doses of poison Thursday of last week from whose effect she died last night. We understand that she refused to give any reason for the rash and inconsiderate act. A physician was sent for about noon when her parents learned the cause of her illness, but too late to avoid a fatal result. What a burden a young life must have when death with its terrors is courted in preference to life.
