Sad Accident.
Last Friday night May 10, John Forester, son of Michael Forester, Jr. met his death by sitting down beside the railroad track, just this side of Alta Vista, and falling asleep laid down with his head too close to the rail, so that a passing train fractured his skull, etc., probably causing death almost instantly. He had been out on a cattle hunt for nearly a week, was very tired, and it is supposed sat down there to await the hand car and get a ride to this place. This makes the fourth one that has been killed very near this same spot. At the coroner's inquest all were exonerated from blame, as no evidence was produced that could attach any cause for the accident to any one. However, Mr. Forester entertains a different opinion, and will probably investigate the cause of this sad tragedy still further. He was buried last Sunday, the funeral being largely attended.--Elma News.
