Obituary.

Mrs. P. C. Kirkpatrick, an old and respected resident of Harper, departed this life today at 11:50 a.m., July 28, aged 58 years, 10 months and 20 days. The deceased was naturally delicate, but was in her usual health until a few days ago, when she was taken down with the cholera morbus, turning into a more complicated disease to us unknown.

Mrs. Kirkpatrick leaves a husband two daughters and one son to mourn her loss, and those who have suffered likewise can truly sympathize with them in this hour of affliction, which comes to us all sooner or later in life. We have been unable to get the day and hour of the funeral.—Harper (Kansas) Sentinel.

Mrs. Kirkpatrick resided in this county at New Oregon, Vernon Springs and Cresco for many years where she made many friends who will sorrow at the unwelcome news of her death.
