DIED.

FARR.—In Cresco, Iowa, June 24th 1888, Abram Farr, of Big Flats, Chemung county, New York, aged 23 years 4 months and 13 days.

Deceased was a nephew of D. S. Edmister of New Oregon, had been at St. Paul, Minn., Aberdeen, Dakota, and other points west, for something like a year, was taken sick with malarial fever, recovering from that somewhat, was taken down with measles. He left St. Paul, Wednesday of last week to come to his uncles, reached here that afternoon, but was too ill to be taken to his place of destination. He was taken to the Van Slyke house. Mr. Edmister was notified, came in and had him removed to Mr. Ira Eldridge’s, where everything possible for his comfort was done but without avail, death coming to his relief Sunday morning at at{sic} about 11 o’clock. The remains will be taken to the home of his parents in Big Flats, N. Y, in charge of a brother of deceased. The funeral service of deceased will be preached in the Edmister school house on Sunday, July 8th at 3 o’clock p. m.
