DEATH AT VERNON SPRINGS

The death of Mr. Harry Harvey occured at his home at Vernon Springs, Sunday July 10.
Mr. Harvey was 81 years old and had been poorly for the past year. He was confined to his bed only the last two days of his life.
He was born in England where he grew to manhood and was one of the Queens guard. He came to America sixty years ago and excepting two years spent in Colorado and three years in Nebraska has lived in Howard County continuously.
He was married 59 years ago to the wife who survives him. He is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Anna McCray, who lives in Canada, and a son Alex of Moorhead, Minnesota.
Funeral services were held from the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Reverend C. S. Carroll of the baptist church officiating. Burial was in New Oregon cemetary.
His son Alex of Moorhead was here for the funeral.
