Rita was born May 3, 1925 at Garchitorina, the Philippines to Ernesto and Aura (Del Rosario) Aquino. On January 1, 1951 she married Primitivo Tremoya in the Philippines. While in the Philippines she owned and operated a small retail store. In May of 2001 she moved to Lime Springs where she spent the rest of her life. Rita was faithful to her faith and prayed the Rosary on a daily basis. She also enjoyed singing, dancing, playing cards, gardening, and smiling and waving to people she encountered while taking walks in Lime Springs. She is survived by eight children: Susan (Dana) Ruggeberg of Lime Springs, Ana Lissa Tremoya of Lime Springs, Nimfa (Orlando) Hizon, Raquel (Pepe) Evangilista, Ma. Lourder (Delfin) Orpesa, Rafael (Alona) Tremoya, Ma. Teressa (Fernando) Jaramilla and Ma. Dolroes (Victorio) Abralam all of the Philippines; 30 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Rita was preceded in death by her husband Primitivo on Mar 13, 1951 and all of her brothers and sisters.

Visitation:
3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the Community Center in Lime Springs.
