At letter from cousin Ella M. Mead of Beloit, Wisconsin brings the sorrowful tidings of the death of Jesse F. Matthews of Newark, Wisconsin at the advanced age of four fifths of a century, of consumption. The deceased was born in Montgomary{sp} county, New York. Was a man of more than ordinary intelligence, a good neighbor, a true citizen and a loving parent.
