Eva was born Nov 16, 1916 in Marshall County Iowa to Elmer and Ada (Bartlett) Anselme. She married Harvey Walker on December 6, 1935 in Boone, Iowa. They started farming in 1942 in Franklin County, Iowa and moved to Howard County in 1951 to continue farming in the Lime Springs area. In 1960 they moved to Cresco, Harvey died later that year in April. While living in Cresco she sold Avon products for over 30 years. In her spare time she sewed, crocheted, was a member of the VFW, she enjoyed growing flowers, playing cards, bingo and spent time with her grandchildren. Each grandchild has a quilt to remember her by. In 1997 she moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin to be near her daughter Betty. In 2002 she moved to Rochester, Minnesota to be near her daughter Gwendola. Eva is survived by three children: Earl (Betty) Walker of Lime Springs, Iowa, Gwendola (Roger) Bergan of Rochester, and Betty (Larry) Detlaff of Durand, WI; ten granddaughters: Cindy, Tammy, Sherry, Kristy, Torey, Eve, Ginnette, Holly, Billie Jo and Heather; 3 step-grandchildren: Shannon, Kristy and Scott; 19 great-grandchildren; 8 step great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister: Evelyn Briden of Eldora, IA. Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Walker; her parents; two great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and four siblings; Art, Cecelia, Nettie and Stella
