Hugh Smith, a 9-years old lad, Grand son of Mr. T. C. Smith with whom he lived, 1-1/2 miles south-west of Chester committed suicide by accident probably on Tuesday morning by hanging himself with a leather strap in a stable adjoining his grand parents residence It is supposed he was "playing hang" and was found in a few minutes after but life was extinct. Dr. Price, the coroner, was sent for and examined the body but held no inquest.
