DIED.

BURDICK--In Cresco, Iowa, May 6th, 1880, John H. Burdick, aged 5 years and 9 months.

After a short illness, Jesus took him to the mansions above. Johnie was a very bright child and it was hard to give him up. This opening bud of childhood which was just beginning to send its fragrance through the home circle God has transplanted to a fairer clime, there to bloom forever in fadeless beauty. His sickness was hours of intensest bodily suffering, a little while before he died his mother kissed him, he said "I am going home." The dear one is safe in the arms of Jesus, there to await the coming of the loved ones left behind.

"Suffer not little children to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
