DIED.

PAIGE.--At the Palmer House, Chicago, Ill., June 1st, 1879, of cancer, Laura Hale Paige, in the 39th year of her age.

The deceased was sister of Mrs. J. M. McCoy, who was with her at the time of decease. Mrs. Paige was daughter of John and Deborah R. Dexter, of Beaver Dam, Wis., and was on her way to visit her parents and relatives in the West, conscious that her days on earth were few. The desires of her heart were not realized, but bravely and cheerfully she welcomed the grim messenger. Her remains were deposited in Oakwood Cemetery at Beaver Dam, the funeral taking place from St. Patrick's Church, with the service of high requiem mass, by Father Buckley, and was attended by the numerous protestant and catholic friends of deceased and family.
