DIED.

GRIFFIN.--In Howard township, Friday night, Nov. 15, 1878, of pulmonary consumption, Catharine Agnes, wife of Patrick Griffin, aged 38 years.

The deceased was born in New York City, in 1840. She had been many years a resident of this county, and leaves behind her a family consisting of four sons and three daughters, to mourn the irreparable loss of a kind and devoted mother. On Monday last her remains were consigned to their final resting place in St. Mary's Cemetery, followed by relatives and friends, testifying their regard for the departed, forming a funeral procession numbering nearly 150 carriages.
