Services to be held for former resident

Services for Rita Schnieder of Honolulu, HI, will be held on Saturday June 17. After the ocean side service her ashes will be sprinkled over the ocean.

Rita, 53, died Monday, June 5, 1995, at her home in Honolulu from complications of diabetes.

Rita Schnieder was born August 18, 1941, in Cresco, the only child of Bernard and Dorothy (Penne) Schnieder. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1959 and as a RN from St. Mary's School of Nursing in Rochester, MN, in 1962. She worked as a RN in Rochester for several years and then as a missionary in Jamaica for three years. The last 25 years she has worked in Honolulu.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
