DIED.-- Rev. C. S. Coates, after a short illness the good man is gone. His early life was spent in Western New York, a member of the old Genesee Conference, his latter days were passed on his farm a little north of Lime Springs. But the farm could not command his giant mind. He must and did preach. He was a powerful preacher, an "old man eloquent."
