DIED.

YOUNG—In Cresco, of disease of the heart, MARTHA E., wife of Henry W. Young, and daughter of W. H. Powell, Esq., of Cresco, in the 29th year of her age. She had been confined to her bed by typhoid fever a little more than a week, and to the joy of family and physician, seemed to be recovering finely, when the disease, of which she died, suddenly developed itself, and in spite of all efforts to save her life, terminated fatally on Sunday morning, the 14th inst.

The deceased was possessed of a singularly amiable and lovable disposition, and was idol of husband and family. To this admirable character she added the charm of an unostentatious piety, and the fragrance of a pure life, and being dead her friends, “Rise Up, and call her blessed, her husband also and he praiseth her.”

“And I heard a voice from heaven, saying unto me “Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord, from henceforth; Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.”
