Mrs. Dorothy King, formerly of Cresco, dies

Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Dorothy Carman King, formerly of Cresco. She died March 28, at her home in Bradenton, Fla., at the age of 49.

She was born in Cresco and moved to Bradenton 26 years ago. She was assistant manager of the Bradenton Country Club Pro shop.

Mrs. King is survived by her husband James H. King, Jr.; three daughters, Mrs. Sue K. McClure of Gainesville, Fla., Mrs. Pamela K. Norwood of Anna Maria, Fla., and Karman King; three sons, James III, Kerry and Joel all of Bradenton; her parents, William Carman of Detroit and Mrs. Lena Carman of Iowa City; a sister, Mrs. Bonnie Harvey of Decatur, Ga.; four brothers, Dr. Kenneth Carman of Detroit, Mich., Dr. Gary Carman of Maryville, Mo., Dr. Neil Carman and Ronald Carman both of Dallas Tex.; and one grandchild.
