Mrs. George Price, 77, Former Resident, Dies

Mrs. George (Bessie) Price, 77, of St. Charles, Minn., died January 7, at the Rochester Methodist hospital. She had been hospitalized for seven weeks.

Mrs. Price was born March 17, 1898 to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith at Marysville, Kansas. She married George Price in Cresco in 1920. He preceded her in death in 1926. She was a member of the Methodist church.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, two step-sons, a step-daughter, two brothers, and four sisters.

Mrs. Price is survived by two sons, Donald of Cheyene, Wyo.,and George of Utica, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Leroy (Anna Marie) Langerud of Utica, Minn., and Mrs. Maurice (Mildred) Burns of Austin, Minn.; three step-sons, Ralph Price of Alta Vista, Emery Price of San Francisco, Calif., and Clyde Price of Freeport, Ill.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Ruby Short of Maquoketa and Mrs. Alice Wilson of Red Oak; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; and one brother, James Smith of Longmont, Colo.
