Ira Baldwin, County Native, Dies at Austin

Funeral services for Ira (Dunny) S. Baldwin,46, were held Aug. 12 at Worlein Funeral home at Austin, with burial at the Ft. Snelling National cemetery at St. Paul, Minn.

Mr. Baldwin, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ira J. Baldwin, was born Aug. 21, 1926, in Chester. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the VFW post 1216.

Mr. Baldwin was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, who died in infancy. He is survived by his wife; three brothers, George Baldwin of California, William Baldwin of North Hollywood, Fla., and Stanley Baldwin of Cresco; and five sisters, Irene Kilby of Dubuque, Mrs. Andrew Cabrera of Mason City, Mrs. Newton Weller of West Des Moines, Mrs. Floyd Moore of San Antonio, Texas and Mrs. Cheryl Ayersof Hills.
