Victor Lusson, Retired Navy Officer, Dies

Victor Lusson, a retired lieutenant commander of the navy, from Green Cove Springs, Fla., died Oct. 28 in the naval hospital at Jacksonville, Fla. He was a native of Cresco. Burial was Nov. 2, at the Arlington National cemetery in Arlington,Va. He had been confined to his home for five years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lusson, and sisters Mrs. Anna Schemmel, Mrs. Ed Bouska and Mrs. Gilbert Fritz, all of Cresco.

Victor Lusson is survived by his wife, Velma;two daughters, Mrs. Karolyn Godbey and Mrs. Vickie Byrd of Jacksonville, FLa.; three grandsons; brother, Joseph Lusson of Rice Lake, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Tillie Drilling of Boyd, Wis. and Mrs. Mary Schoeberl of Cresco; and many nieces and nephews.
