Lloyd Leffler,77,former resident dies

Word has been received of the death of Lloyd L. Leffler, 77, a former Cresco resident. He died September 10, 1987 in the Veterans Hospital in Livermore, California where he had been a patient the past three years. Internment will be in the Portland Veterans cemetery.

Lloyd L. Leffler was born April 22, 1910 in Cresco, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Leffler. He graduated from Cresco high school. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and following his discharge worked for Owens-Illinois Glass Co. until he became ill. Lloyd married Ellen Lemon,also of Cresco.

He is survived by his wife, of Hayward, CA and a sister, Viola Von Konsky of Portland, OP.
