Mrs. George Huber
Largely attended funeral services for Mrs. George Huber of Cresco, were held at the Catholic church in Ft. Atkinson on Monday, October 29, the Rev. Fr. Kucera officiating. Burial was in the Huber family lot at Ft. Atkinson.
Mrs. Huber died suddenly at the home of Mr. Huber’s daughter, Mrs. Mathilda Rosenbaum at Waucoma, Friday evening, October 26. Mr. and Mrs. Huber had been visiting there since Monday. Mrs. Huber was stricken with a heart attack on Wednesday evening but her condition seemed improved and they were planning on returning to Cresco Sunday.
Lived Near Spillville
Deceased’s maiden name was Anna Chyle. She was the daughter of Mathias and Mary Chyle. Mr. Chyle has been dead many years and Mrs. Chyle died three years ago. The family lived on a farm near Spillville, where Anna was born Oct. 15, 1879. She grew up attending the rural schools there and near Protivin and at the time of her marriage to Mr. Huber on May 10, 1935, she lived at Chatfield, Minn. Since her marriage she has lived in Cresco.
Survivors
She is survived by her husband, three brothers and two sisters: Frank and Joseph Chyle of Protivin, Charles Chyle of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Mary Bricnavk and Frances Chyle of Protivin., Mrs. Huber was a sister of the late Mrs. James Zbornik of Cresco. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic church and of the Altar & Rosary Society.
Relatives from a distance attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Rosenbaum of Lawler, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Otters, Jackson Junction, James Zbornik of Cresco, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rosenbaum of Waucoma, many other relatives and friends.

I wish to express my appreciation and thanks to all friends and relatives who sent flowers and spiritual bouquets and who expressed sympathy in any way in my bereavement. I especially thank Goodrich & Searcy and employees for their kind and thoughtful acts.
