BOY STRUCK BY CAR DIES
CONDUCT LASST RITES IN CRESCO CHURCH FOR LEFERINK, 13

Cresco – Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Cresco, for Francis Leferink, 13, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Leferink, who dies at Mercy Hospital, Cresco, after being hit by an auto while playing in the street near his home.

The Rev. A. C. Woerdehoff officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

The boy is survived by his parents and six brothers and sisters.
