Luverne Ruth Erion, 81, of French Camp died Saturday in a Stockton hospital. Mrs. Erion was born in Cresco, Iowa, and lived in French Camp for 48 years.

She was a homemaker. Mrs. Erion was married for 64 years.

Survivors: husband, Edison Erion of Stockton; children, Skip Erion and Patsy Derby, both of Stockton, Bob Erion of French Camp, Terry Erion of Mossey Rock, Wash., and Ron Erion of Wyoming; sister, Alice Swenson of Chester, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Services: Memorial, 10 a.m. Thursday, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Northgate Chapel, 1233 Northgate Drive, Manteca. Memorials: charity of your choice. Mortuary: Neptune Society of Northern California.
