Mrs. Arthur Goetsch Dies at Age of 91

Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur (Eliseline) Goetsch, 91, were held Aug. 3 at the Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral home with the Rev. Bruce Pilcher officiating. Burial was in the Cedar Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Goetsch was born in Bern, Switzerland, on Dec. 1, 1881. Before coming to the United States in 1905, she had been a governess in Switzerland. She had been a house wife and an accomplished seamstress who did knitting and crocheting. Mrs. Goetsch was married to Arthur Goetsch March 15, 1906. Before entering the hospital, her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Hughes, had been living with her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Henry, and one great granddaughter.

Mrs. Goetsch is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Alice Diem of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Myrtle Nise of Lime Springs and Mrs. Hazel Hughes of Cresco. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
