WALTERS — Leonard S. Walters, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. August Walters, Oct. 17, 1894, aged 18 days. The family have the heartfelt sympathy of all in the community. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. L. Reep.
Our baby has left this dark world
And gone to that beautiful home,
For Jesus has said in his word,
Oh, do not forbid them to come.
Although our hearts ache here below,
We know that our darling is free.
It will make us more willing to go,
When we drift on the same stormy sea.
He is waiting for us at the gate,
With a crown of pure gold on his brow.
Our loved one will suffer no more,
How happy it makes us feel now.
To think that his trials are past,
He is free from all suffering and pain.
We will soon bid good-bye to this world,
And meet with our baby again.
