Henry Edward Bronner, son of John and Mary Bronner of Albion twp., Howard county, Iowa was born May 12, 1879 in Howard County, Iowa. He died at Independence, Iowa on Friday, January 14, 1910. When about seven years of age he met with a very serious misfortune, having been kicked by a horse on the head. This injured him for life.

In 1902 he was taken to the hospital at Independence for treatment and better care than could be given him at home. On several occasions he was permitted to come home on a furlough and a visit with his people, after which he again returned to the hospital where he died.

On Saturday, the 15th, his remains were sent to Cresco, where they were taken in charge by the undertaker, and prepared for burial. The funeral, which was largely attended, occurred on Sunday, Jan. 10, from the Albion Evangelical church and was conducted by the Rev. J. C. Schwab. The interment was made in the cemetery near by.

There remains to mourn his loss, his father and mother, five brothers and six sisters, Sam of Mason City, Iowa, Dan of Albion township, Carrie Michel of Granger, Minn., Mary Jeffers of Hampton, lowa, Lizzie Altunnes of Writchsonville, S. D., Kate Dunbar of Decorah, Iowa, Anna Offen of Bonair, Iowa, Albert at home, John of Granger and Alma Keune of Albion, besides a large circle of relatives and friends.

One sister, Sarah, preceded him in death.

The remains of Eddie Bronner, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bronner of North Albion, arrived Saturday from Independence, where he has been for several years past, and interment took place in the local cemetery Sunday, the sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved family.
