Mrs. Addie Bronner Found Dead in Her Home Sunday

Mrs. Addie L. Bronner, 64, of Cresco, was found dead in her home Sunday morning. Circumstances indicated that Mrs. Bronner took her own life.

Funeral services for the well-known Cresco woman, widow of the late Albert Bronner, who died only nine months ago, are being held this afternoon (Wednesday) at 2:00 in the Cresco Evangelical United Brethren church.

The Rev. H. H. Kitson, pastor, will conduct the services and burial will be in the Cedar Hill cemetery. The Bradley Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Bronner, the former Addie L. Scheier, daughter of Jacob and Hannah Scheier, was born at La Porte City, April 4, 1888. She was married to Albert Bronner in 1912.

The couple became the parents of four sons, all of whom are living. Mr. and Mrs. Bronner retired from the farm in 1943 and moved to Cresco. Mr. Bronner died July 19, 1961.

Surviving Mrs. Bronner are her sons, Kenneth of Waterloo, and Eldred, Robert and Clarence of Cresco, and 14 grandchildren.
