Eldon Krueger

Eldon Krueger, 80, services held Sat.

Services for Eldon Krueger, 80, were held Saturday, June 22 at 1:30 p.m. in the United Methodist Church in Cresco with the Rev. Allen Wiese officiating. Interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, rural Cresco, with Lindstrom Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

He died at his home in Cresco on June 18, 1991.

Eldon Krueger was born March 12, 1911, on a farm in Howard County, the son of William and Ada (Fox) Krueger. He attended the rural schools of Howard County.

Eldon Krueger and Ella DeGreve were united in marriage on April 10,1941, at Austin, MN. They farmed until retirement and then moved into Cresco.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Sharon) Jones of Sumner; two grandchildren; a brother, Merlyn Krueger of Waterloo and three sisters, Mrs. Carl (Vilda) Mandelko of Harmony, MN., Mrs. Jack (Lanora) Lingbeck and Mrs. Violette Reinhart, both of Cresco.

His wife preceded him in death on Feb. 15, 1991; also preceded by a daughter who died in infancy; his parents and four sisters, Florence Melcher, Myrtle Smith, Inez Gunnelson and Naomi Sommer.
