ELMA: Raymond M. Ries, 80, died Monday Jan 19 1998 at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Elma, after a short illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial in the Calvary Cemetery, both of Elma.

Visitation will be held from 3-8pm today at the Conway Funeral Home, with a 4pm rosary, a Catholic Foresters Rosary at 5pm and a 7:30pm parish Scripture service.

Raymond M. Ries was born March 6, 1917 in North Washington, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife Ardell (nee Brus), three sons, LeRoy of Mason City, Iowa, Lyle of Alta Vista , Iowa and Dale of Beaverton,Oregon; two daughters, Sr. Phyllis Ann R.S.M. of Little Falls, MN and Rosalie Weber of Waterloo,IA; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, his twin brother Ralph of Elma, IA and Leonard of Waterloo.
