A distressing accident occurred last Tuesday, resulting in the death of W. A. Clyde, aged about 14 or 15 years. He was riding the horse drawing the car used by the track-layers, when part of the harness gave way, frightening the animal, which threw him on the track, and the car passing over him, killed him. He is said to have been a faithful, industrious boy.
