DROWNED AT FORESTON--On the day of the Sunday School celebration, during the progress of the exercises, a little boy seven years of age, the only surviving son of Joseph Miller, who resides about two miles from Foreston, went into the river for the purpose of bathing. Being unable to swim, and the water 10 feet deep, the little fellow was of course drowned. There was nobody near at the time with the exception of a few other small boys, who were powerless to save him. He was in the water about half an hour before he was found, and all efforts to resuscitate him proved unavailing. The loss falls with crushing weight upon the aflicted parents, who have the earnest sympathies of all in their bereavement.
