Myrtle Smith Dies Tuesday At Hospital

Myrtle M. Smith, 84, of 822 E. 7th St., died yesterday at DePaul Hospital.

A housewife, she was born June 21, 1898 in Cresco, Iowa, and had lived in Cheyenne since 1947.

She is survived by her husband, Wesley s. Smith, of Cheyenne, whom she married Aug. 15, 1924, in LeRoy, Minn.; one daughter, Thelma Glass of Cheyenne; one sister, Mabel Costello of Cresco; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wiederspahn Chapel of the Chimes with the Rev. Robert Ove officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
