MARRIED
Owen-Albertson.
Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 29th, at 5 o’clock, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alber Albertson of Bonair, occurred the marriage of their daughter, Mala R., to Elmer G. Owen, a son of Mrs. Mary Owen, also of Bonair, Rev. G. W. Turner officiating. The young couple were attended by Miss Mildred Wentworth, a cousin of the bride, and Frank Owen, a brother of the groom. Only the immediate relatives of the bridal couple witnessed the ceremony.
After the ceremony the newly-weds received the congratulations and best wishes of their guests. Following which a delicious wedding supper was served.
Mr. and Mrs. Owen are among the best of Howard County’s young people and are held in high esteem in the community which has been their home for years.
Saturday morning the young couple leave for Ft. Dodge, where they will make their future home, this being headquarters for Mr. Owen.
The Plain Dealer joins with the many friends of the young couple in wishing them all that is best in their new life.
