MARRIED
At 5:30 o’clock on Wednesday evening, Nov. 3rd, 1920, at the residence of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Jones, five miles north of Lime Springs, Iowa, a quiet wedding took place when David J. Thomas and Miss Dina Mae Jones were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by Rev. G. M. Shoemaker, pastor of the M. E. church at Lime Springs.
The bride was becomingly attired in a dainty gown of blue messaline with cream lace trimmings and was attended by her friend, Miss Florence Miller, as bridesmaid. The groom appeared in a nifty suit of dark checkal cloth, accompanied by Emerson Jones as best man. The bridal party took their places while the wedding march was being played by Miss Annie Jones, sister of the bride. After the ceremony all sat down to a bountiful supper and enjoyed the festivities together.
These worthy young people are well known and highly respected in the community where they have lived and their many friends wish them great happiness through life, and will be pleased to know that Mr. and Mrs. Thomas will immediately settle on a farm as their future home, two miles southwest of Bristol, where they will be glad to welcome their friends and neighbors.
