Private Church Wedding.
DEWITT-HERPELINCK.
At the Cresco Methodist Episcopal church, Tuesday morning Oct. 22nd, at ten o’clock, occurred the marriage of Miss Leita DeWitt of Saratoga and Mr. Harry F. Herpelinck of Elma. The beautiful ring ceremony was solemnized by Rev. E. G. Copeland in the presence of a few relatives and friends. Miss Louise Herpelinck was bridesmaid and Mr. Leroy Ritze acted as best man.
The bride is the only daughter of Mr. Louis DeWitt of Saratoga. She is an accomplished young lady of excellent character and refinement and will preside in her home with ability and grace. The groom is an industrious young men{sic} of splendid habits and a strong ambition to succeed. He is the manager and operator of his father’s farm and is doing well. Their many friends join in extending congratulations and best wishes.
Mr. and Mrs. Herpelinck will begin housekeeping at once on the Herpelinck homestead nine miles northeast of Elma and will be at home to their friends after November 1st.
