A quiet wedding was celebrated last Thursday, March 14, 1918, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Powers, of Morgan, at high noon, when their daughter Grace Garnet Powers and Paul Clarence Orum of Ridgeway were united in marriage by Rev. G. M. Shoemaker. The bride, always sweet, looked unusually so attired in a most becoming gown of brown Crepe de Chene, and the groom in a blue serge suit looked the picture of happiness complete. Only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present. After enjoying a bounteous wedding dinner Mr. and Mrs. Orum drove to Cresco where they will visit relatives and friends and will make their home. The many friends of both bride and groom wish them everything good in life.
