Christensen—Perry.
The home of the bride’s parents Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Perry, one mile south of Cresco, was the scene of a very pretty home wedding on Thursday afternoon, March 14th, at 3:00 o’clock, when Miss Bessie L. Perry was united in marriage to Mr. Jens P. Christensen, of Pipestone, Minn., Rev. E. G. Copeland officiating with the beautiful ring ceremony in the presence of a number of relatives and friends.
The bride was very becomingly attired in a gown of white crepe de chine trimmed with silver lace. She is a young lady of splendid practical accomplishments, is a graduate of the Cresco High School and for the past year has been living with a married sister in Pipestone.
The groom is a very industrious and successful young man who is manager of the Naeve Cement and Silo Mfg. Co. of Pipestone, Minn.
Both young people have a large circle of friends who join in wishing them a happy and prosperous voyage through life.
Following the ceremony and congratulations, a splendid three course dinner was served in the dining room.
Mr. and Mrs. Christensen will visit a few days among friends in this vicinity after which they will make their home in Pipestone, Minn., where they will be at home to their friends after April 15.
