At the Christian Church in Mankato, Minn., on Saturday, April 7th, 1917, occurred the marriage of Miss Georgia Edmunds to Mr. C. Manford Hagestad, both of Elma. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Hughes, pastor of the Christian Church. Thus culminates a romance between two of our popular young people who are most favorably known to a large circle of friends, Mr. Hagestad is a telegrapher for the C. G. W. Ry at this place. The bride has been the linotype operator in the New Era office. They will be “at home” in the Stapleton bungalow on the west side after May 1st.—Elma New Era.
