A goodly number or the neighbors and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Stevens took possession of their home Saturday evening, in the form of a surprise in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary. Needless to say the evening was very pleasantly spent in social conversation and music and at the proper hour a bountiful supper was prepared by the ladies, after which Mr. and Mrs. Stevens were presented with a purse of silver as a memento of the happy event.
